Fallout 76 ( PC )

   Time Played: 15 hours
Fallout 76 is an online multiplayer action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the ninth game in the Fallout series and serves as a narrative prequel to the series. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 14, 2018. Fallout 76 is be Bethesda Game Studios' first online multiplayer game. Players may play individually or with a party of up to three others. All the servers for the game will be dedicated, with the player automatically allocated to one of them. While the game is expected to launch with public servers only, game director Todd Howard revealed plans for private servers to be introduced some time after the game's launch. These private servers will allow players to invite friends to play in order to prevent undesirable aspects of player versus player gameplay such as griefing from affecting an individual player's experience of the game. Howard described the delay as being necessary to allow Bethesda time to assure the stability of public servers. Elements of previousFallout games will be present and modified to work with the real-time game.
So, Is this the beloved “Fallout” game we know which have interesting story and open-world OR it's something else. I am extremely sorry to say it is NOT that beloved Fallout we knew. Here is my Thoughts / Review on “Fallout 76”
Pros:

  • There is lore in this game and for a most part it is and was interesting for me. I loved the story behind each person to what happened to them by reading computers and listening to the holotapes, I enjoyed it
      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  • BUT i have to mention that sometimes the lore is messed up and the writing in the notes is…. Let's say awkward, not well written as they did not knew how to speak english
  • Some of the locations i visited were fun and i was impress but don’t get me wrong, they did not impress me like the locations i visited in new vegas OR even in fallout 4 but i have to give credit for bethesda that GG 👏 for making at least the world somewhat fun.
  • Soundtrack is pretty good in 76, I enjoyed the tension music when been in fight OR the relaxing music when walking in the beautiful wasteland
  • As the whole story of the game is based on notes, computers and Holotapes, The voice-acting in this game is pretty good i must say. Not mind-blowing but good
  • There are many old and new beasts to kill and get loot from
  • While my main aim was to play Fallout 76 as a single-player game, the people i met during my exploration of the wasteland were friendly and you could make some new friends with them, Have fun around ( It was my experience, i have heard that some people are just idiots and troll you around while speaking an abuse language )

Cons:

  • Graphics while *sometimes* look beautiful…. Does not look great at all at many other times
  • I am not gonna talk about how awful the V.A.T.S system is, just look it up and decided for yourself
  • Bugs to you, And another Bug to you and you as well, Many bugs ( can many can be fixed with future patches ) and by many I REALLY DO MEAN MANY as there are so many bugs that bugs we had in Fallout 4 makes a return here as well
  • Also, There is NO END GAME??.
  • Technical issues including not running well on many powerful PC and Server issues ( can get randomly kicked out to lose a lot of progress due to it )
  • PVP still is awful and IMO not been upgraded than fallout 4 and is pointless.
  • NO PUSH-TO-TALK ( as of current )... I mean come-on Bethesda, Are you that dumb to not have this in an Online game?
  • The set FOV can make you nausea and maybe vomit after playing for a while ( Bethesda says it will come-out in coming weeks and to fix it as of now, you have to change setting in ini file of the game)
  • Oh yeah also, the servers are laggy to not responding… but the main issue is that the servers are not encrypted means that other people can not only get your ip-address BUT but also can allow to screw with all the players in that server ( I can not confirm it cause 1. I heard this in the internet and 2. It might have been patched
  • When i was playing this game as a single-player i just got bored pretty quick in it as there is NO NPC to talk to TO the world ( West-virginia ) been empty and of no good use
  • Many times i got into a bug where i simply could not continue the *quote on quote* MAIN-QUEST and had to restart the whole-freaking game
  • Speaking of Main-story, it just is running around, doing stupid stuff and LET'S JUST SAY its dumb and not fun at all
  • And OMG! As this is an online-game, The enemy spawning system is SOOOOOO AWFUL and the second you kill a enemy, it respawns RIGHT AT YOUR FACE
  • As the game’s *MAIN-STORYLINE* is made by computers to read at and holotapes, the holotapes are long but if a event or something else pop-out the tape just stops and you have to listen a 5 minute tape AGAIN to finish it off. IT ANNOYING ( And bethesda look, add a feature where we can pause or fast-forward or back the holotapes…. Thanks )
  • The Building system was somewhat useful at fallout 4 as you build defences and homes for your settlement but in 76 its NO-NO as it is only useful if you want to store your junk and ammo. THAT'S IT

Final Verdict: 4/10 “(Below Average / Meh )”

“Fallout 76” Is *Not* a bad game but at the same time not a great game, Many issues can be fixed *if* Bethesda listens to their fanbase and fix the issues WE all report to them. But as of now it feels like and “Early access” game and we are their Beta-testers. The world, soundtrack and the lore in 76 kept me to give it this score of 4/10 ( Below average ) or else it could have a easily 2/10 ( A Disaster of a game ). It is NOT worth of $60 and better save this money for another game or when all the issues are fixed
